how are you reducinghte size of your image for entry? i found out the hard way that bakic editing wont' cut it, when a qhite good image tanked because it lost al its crispness in reducing it to 640pix. that could be one issue easily solved.

Mary this girl is cute, but there are a few issues here...the yellow cast has already been commented on. You can adjust this in your image editing software. The focus isn't strong, the whole shot is quite blurry. It's a pity, because this shot is so cute and the composition is good. I am sure that those two things alone would have made for a higher score. You got 61 x 5's. Had that been 61x 6's with those two things corrected, you might have finished in the top 20%.

Keep going. I would do as much as I could to utilise this gorgeous ittle model in future challenges...she's adorable!

I'm not much for receiving or giving comments, but since Candids are
near and dear to my heart, I have decided to give comment on every entry
in this challenge.

Well, I like the tones, but the shot is out of focus and really holds no interest for me in what I like and expect from a candid. It's just a guy with his dog. I like to see things more unexpected, people out of the ordinary, obscure situations, something that stimulates more interest. I get no real wow factors from this. It is a 3 for me.
