did you desaturate of use the channel mixer, it looks a little flat. needs more contrast. Would have been more compeling.

I would have gone for three strawberries - not becasue the rule book says you should, but because I feel this shot is slightly unbalanced with only two.

That said, this still has a good composition, as well as great lighting and nice DoF which sets it off well. The curves of the cream lead the eye left to right and back again which helps me to explore the whole shot. However shouldn't there be more of the strawberries reflection?

There is not enough contrast in brightness to make a black and white photo effective here. The picture would perhaps have been more effective in color. It's not bad though over all

I like the serenity seen in this photo. It is adorable and calming, especially with the tones of gray used in the photograph. I like it a lot, nice work.
