Banana Republicby Bernard_MarxComment by ShaneBlake: hehe... i almost passed over this one, but i'm glad i clicked. the black and white really makes me want to look at it again... why? i'm not sure. it's just off slightly, but not in a bad way. just makes me want to look again.
i might have liked a square crop for this one... might want to try it and see... |

Minifruitby Bernard_MarxComment by SandyP: I like it :) I love the minimalist effect. And I love them being right in the center. This is a very cool photo.

On Deckby Bernard_MarxComment by krnodil: This is great - the orientation disorients - I'm bobbing along on the rolling deck right along with him. |

Ristorante Da Brunoby Bernard_MarxComment by krnodil: Seems like it would be tough to bike what you're hauling in front of you, rather than pulling it in back. Eh, what do I know? :) Nice tones, but the bike itself seems to be lacking just enough contrast that I find myself wishing it had more. Seems like the toning has the effect of blending the bike into the background instead of helping it stand apart. |

Bleak Houseby Bernard_MarxComment by krnodil: The location is spare and run down, so yes, bleak, but your processing (is this split or duo toned?) gives the setting such lively contrasts that the "bleak" all but disappears. The shot is stirring (I think that's synonymous with "evocative"). ;) |
