Green energiesby Rino63Comment by pineapple: Nice commercial shot. Very difficult processing to avoid banding in the sky though. You have to play around with levels and curves very very gently to avoid artifacting and posterization. |

Green energiesby Rino63Comment by JulietNN: HI from teh CC Club
What a golden day that seemed to be!
My eye is drawn all over the place for this, looking for something other than the sun to stare at. Obviously the sun is the first thing that you see as it is the big bright thing. The sun also appears to have 6 sides.
i like the softness of the shot as it seem like summer haze. To be honest the sun is killing me, if there was no sun and just all those golden hues, i think you would have placed higher.
You have good DOF, you do need a start point though and I can not find one. The sharpness is lacking, even though you used Gblur, there still needs to be a certain amount of crispness to it
I see hills or clouds in the background, if you ever get the chance to shoot this again without the sun, please do, as I think it would make a stunning shot. |

Well, wow you scored really well with this shot, nicely done.
1st impressions, to me the chair is annoying and is drawing my eye to that first. Other than that, there is nothing else I can say.
Good positioning, great DOF, clean sharp lines, very nicely done, but try it without the chair!!
Well done

At workby Rino63Comment by JEason: One thing that sort of erks me about the shot is that the bottom of the tire is cut off and there is plenty of space at the top. My two cents is that next time try to include the whole tire. |

Hurt coastlineby Rino63Comment by basssman7: Greetings from Ernie of The Critique Club!
Subject: The photo definately meets the challenge description and is well presented.
Composition: I like the diagonal 2/3 1/3 composition you have used here. (although being afraid of heights I find it a bit dizzying!)
Technicals: Overall exposure is good, but the shot seems to lack some "pop" that would put it into the "wow" catagory when the viewer sees it. Perhaps a slight boost in contrast (making sure the highlights do not blow out) would help.
Improvements: Other then a slight boost in contrast and saturation of the shadow area I think you have done quite well with this image.
I look forward to seeing more of your work in the future.
