Silenceby Rino63Comment by Jason_Cross: The simplicity of this is what made it a good photo for me. I gave it an 8. To me zen is simple because a simple life is the good life! |

Coffee in the morningby Rino63Comment by geekssweet: I like the lighting with the cup shadow cast down on the paper.
I'm a coffee nut, so I really enjoyed this.
I like your focus as well as the room reflection caught in the cup itself. |

The touch of Midaby Rino63Comment by puzzled: This is my favorite of the several Midas shots I've seen. I like how you've got the gold flakes to flow from the finger to the leaf. |

Singer sphinxby Rino63Comment by amandalore: beautiful composition and the subject works so well in sepia. I love the tangled up thread, reminds of what happens every time I try to use my mom's old singer |

Alone...with a curious man!by Rino63Comment by jah_luv: Great job! I love black and white photos, and this one is executed very nicely. The illusion of distance, with a hazy feel make this one extra nice. Just not as exciting as some of the other entries in comparison. But nice still. And thanks for submitting an entry that meets the challenge without causing me frustration in figuring out how. Raising original score from a 5 to a 6. |

The touch of Midaby Rino63Comment by notonline: I don't get the connection to the title and I've seen a lot of this. Might I suggest the model puts some hand cream on to soften the skin tones up a bit and not look so aged. It also would have taken the high contrast off of the finger. The photo itself has nice choice in DoF and is a fairly interesting photo because the gold appears to be graduated from the tip of the finger to the leaf and so on. Great colors and clarity. Well done and good luck in this challenge. <7> |
