Eveningby Rino63Comment by Blackbox: Thanks for showing a sailboat the IS powered by wind and not just birds flying which can fly without the aid of wind. |

Capo Posillipoby Rino63Comment by eqsite: This is a lovely shot. The colors are nice and it has a soft feel that I think works here. I understand your choice to place the horizon near the center so that you could include the beautiful sky, but I think it still might be better if it were placed higher in the frame. |

Eveningby Rino63Comment by glad2badad: Hmmm. I like it for it's simplicity, and I also like the fact that you're presenting the image without a long winded (pun intended) title. :D I'm undecided whether I like the large expanse of sky or not. It's a bit mundane (even a small cloud or two would help - not that you can control THAT, he-he). I kind of get the impression you really wanted to include that third seagull on the left, therefore the larger sky canvas. Not sure that you're maximizing the 'Wind' story by doing this. Some that enjoy a minimalistic approach will enjoy this composition probably a little more I guess. Sorry for rambling, especially since I've not formulated any strong opinion on your photograph. Best of luck to you in the challenge. |

The giant and the childby Rino63Comment by artvet: Nice duotone, rocks on the left and the cut in half boat distract little bit. I like the subtele horizon line and the silhouette of the fisherman. |

Look at me!by Rino63Comment by krafty1: The lack of color in the OOF background really makes the colors in the foreground subject pop. |
