This a zucchini blossom closing up for the night. I took the picture at dusk & had trouble getting the right light setting. I used the auto setting for close up, put my hand in front of the flash just as it fired, & this is how the color came out. The colors are bizarre, but I thought it was appropriate for the theme. (Little Shop of Horrors) BTW, if you haven't tried this technique, be warned that the flash is HOT. I don't know if it is harmful to the camera. I hope to submit more photos if I can find my way back thru the maze of sending it in:) thanks for the critiques.

I agree about the focus on the leaves, but this is a nice composition. Colors are great too.
