"Surprise from a Penny Jar"by tfarrell23Comment by Trinch: FYI: If there is a V.D.B. on the reverse side of that coin (bottom edge), you've basically got yourself enough for a new camera. As far as the picture is concerned, I really like the composition and the ighting is perfect. Nothing is overexposed and there are no distracting shadows. Nice idea. |

"Surprise from a Penny Jar"by tfarrell23Comment by RonB: Hmmm. The only way this could really be serendipity is that the owner of the pennies wanted to trade them in for bills or larger denomination coins, and chose an extraordinarily honest numismatist as the 'banker'. Hopefully others will "get" what this particular coin represents. And, hopefully the coin is YOURS. Photographically, I applaud everything about the shot -l focus, color, crop, and composition. A 10 from me. |

"Surprise from a Penny Jar"by tfarrell23Comment by caryc: I'm not sure why, but a lot of shots in every challenge have pennies. I like this shot because its'a bit different than normal (with pennies just laying about and one is silver or something), but you may find others in DPChallenge vote lower because it's a shot that is seen a lot in DP Challenge. Good luck though. |
