Strong and effective use of negative space. Good technically too - strong composition without feeling forced.

too much negative space. Tighter crop would work way better here.

Good lighting and subject. Maybe a different angle for the loose end would help the composition.

I think this image could have been done better, change the light, how much of the coins do we have to see before we know what they are. Loose the pink back ground, that's a dated shade and it dulls the already tarnised coins. I just think that this had opertunity to be a great image, but it turned out leaving me wanting for more.

Cool shot. I think I would prefer a little less black. I would have cropped it in just a bit more. I like the reflections.

Nice exposure. Love the lights and colors. I like how the subject comes to a point on the left. The black negative space works well to make the rest pop.

Good concept, nice shot except for the tape(?) streaming off to the left - can't tell what that is. If it was tape off the roll, should be sliver side up. If it's not tape, it's distracting. Hope this helps. :-)

Comment by Arcanist:
Tape technology. I am challenged to see technology in tape (compared to other fasterners? compared to other tape?) In some ways it could be argued that duct tape is high tech compared to scotch. The subject is well placed in the frame and falls out of the frame at a good locations as well. DOF just enough to make what is important stay in focus and what is secondary becomes an afterthought. Little strong on the highlight over the single tape but causes a blending into the background that works for the whole. Overall good composition, feel I'm stretching too much for technology, but the idea sticks well anyway.
