Like the purples and the darkness. The dim silhouettes of the trees are particularly nice, and the reflected clouds. Moon and its reflection are a little harsh in comparison to everything else in the scene..

I want to see this without the fat little white border surrounding it...with such a deep rich photograph, it's nothing but a distraction...and I hate the word myself, but it really keeps me from fully enjoying this beautiful, moody midnight story, which is of course my own fault I cannot get past it. Maybe if it were simply thinner? No more the 2 pixels at the most? Or instead of white, a deeper gray? Just thinking out loud...

So you have achieved something that is fairly difficult in the photography world. You have hit on a sense/taste/memory thought. A thought that makes someone want to go out and do something beocre of something YOU did.

Even if it was a rose. so well done!

Chris, this is wonderful, did you shoot the entire event with the LB? (probably not lol). This is a great composition, super colour and for me a great shot for advertising the event in the future?
