I think this is the third picture I've seen with this title. Also a fair number with the topic. Lighting seems odd -- either that's a very dark-coloured spoon or it really is on a bit of a strange angle. If the spoon is actually dark-coloured, it's a good choice to give contrast. Not terribly interesting to me overall but it does meet the topic just fine.

Hmmm. I like looking in home magazines so I actually find some interest in seeing interior shots like this. However, the picture doesn't really stand out.
It fits the challenge, and doesn't have any big technical problems. I understand that you're trying to show the small lights with the low lighting, but I don't really like it. I'm left looking in the dark for the subject and not really finding it. There are 3 major elements that have been cut off and lead the eye out of the frame. Somehow there isn't really a subject or particular point of interest. Maybe the candle holders and star could be isolated and be more interesting without all the distractions. I guess I'm just saying that the composition doesn't really work.
I gave it a 5 which is my middle-of-the road score. It's a decent pic, but doesn't really have any strong elements to make the viewer want to take a second look. The lighting is low but not dramatic. There aren't any strong lines or color. Good effort and decent score though.

like this shot, and the bubbles in your liquid, but the harsh shadow beneath the spoon distracts. I would have tried to get some light under there to eliminate that.

Yum. Corn syrup? I like the way you've closed in on that drip from the spoon. This image would be enhanced even further with more interesting light (more dramatic, angled, etc.?).

Ahhh, fax machine face. Lets see...I know this seems a little nit picky but I would have liked to see the green button more in the bottom corner and could have gotten just a little more blue at the top. I like your use of DOF. I really like the colors. They are vivid. 8 Good luck in the challenge.
