The flare off the metal in the bottom left is very distracting. Excelent use of seapia tone here, you have given the seen a great feeling.

Greetings From the Critique Club:

Hi, Tarbini

Challenge: I do believe that this is a pretty picture that nicely shows the countryside. Therefore, you have met the challenge well.

Composition: There is absolutely nothing that could be done differently with the composition here. The single hay bale in the front is nice. The shadow of what must be a tree to the right provides a nice contrast and adds to the picture. The sky is a beautiful blue, however, I still agree with my comment made during the challenge that it would be even better if you had some wispy clouds the day you took this picture. The rolling hills provide a nice backdrop to your picture.

Technical: Once again, I still agree with my comment made before. I think the picture might be just a tad on the bright side. I would like to see the colors "pop" out just a little bit more. The yellows and greens seem just a bit flat. Other than that, I would say that it was perfect. I'm not familar with circular polarizers, so I'm curious as to how it affected the scene.

It was also interesting to see the comments that you recieved concerning your border. As always, as border that differs from the plain black becomes a controversy. I happen to like the transparent border and disagree with those that said it distracts.

Overall: A very nice countryside picture. I stand true to the score that I gave it during the challenge. While it didn't bring out the "WOW" factor, it was nicely done. I looked at some of your other photos and am very impressed with your work. Look forward to seeing more.

I like this shot - it has quite an artistic quality about it, whilst also easily meeting the speed challenge.
