Although the subject branches off in two separate directions, I voted it a 1 on challenge criteria because to me it is still technically one subject. Your controlled lighting is exquisite. I love how you've made use of the full spectrum without losing detail in highlights or shadows. Nice work. The symmetrical composition also really works well with this shot.

nice detail and composition. I would have actually preferred a bit less light on the lower left, the black on the right really sets the flower off well. Maybe a slightly different angle would have given you that or bringing along a black piece of velvet or construction paper.

Very unusal flower shot. Very symetrical. The negative space is nice but I can see some noise in it, mostly blue. Perhaps a dupe layer to remove that by decreasind blues or levels to make it black. Otherwise a nice original idea.
