I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: Very nice work - the image conveys a sense of photographic control - a real sense of active framing here, like you have placed the horizon 'just so' in the frame. I like the coloration / toning too - just a hint of bronze.

Critical stuff: The overall interest in the scene is intrinsically low so I'm not sure you had too much to work with.

Overall: A nice minimalist landscape.
