Hot Lathe Chipsby David EyComment by Speigner: Intersting idea, strange composition though. My eye is taken away from the subject by the bright diagonal shape. |

Magical Curvesby David EyComment by David Ey: Thanks to all. I appreciate your comments. I will try to answer your questions: There are two transparent french curves, the smaller one stuck through the larger one. They are setting on what WAS a clean mirror which is laying beside a wall which is Spanish textured and painted a creeme or off white color. The room's lights were off. The lighting was by "playing" a flashlight onto the curves in a tight circular motion from above. The final result was created by adjusting the global levels. I didn't notice the speck which shows up as two until the next day when looking at the shots in 'Elements. I tryed to redo the shot about 60 or so times but was unsuccessful. Lesson learned------keep an eye on the details BEFORE you make the shot. You might not get the same chance again. Thanks again for your votes and your comments. David |

Magical Curvesby David EyComment by Ronin: I love the lighting, but I wonder what it would have looked like with no flash and a long exposure with some softer lighting. |
