No guts, No gloryby HavokComment by librodo: Great poster. IMHO, the picture could have been more in focus if the picture is double-framed with a thin line. But this is one of the best here. |

No guts, No gloryby HavokComment by timmi: Beautiful ocean scenery. The waves breaking on the rocks are superb touch. I am not so sure about the slanted font though. |

Remains of a 'Hot' Topicby HavokComment by zeuszen: A very good photo and a poignant -take- with an effectively apt title. I would have liked to see more of the subject in exchange for some of the more than ample white space, particularly to provide as many or as much of a point(s) of interest as possible, given the literal -stillness- of this shot.
Technically (colour, hue, focus, dof) the photo is examplary, IMO. |

Remains of a 'Hot' Topicby HavokComment by Dave Gordon: Great detail and texture. I hope they don't jump you under the Patriot Act for burning material that refers to our leaders. It's getting kind of hard to tell how much freedom of speech is still allowed since 9/11. |

Remains of a 'Hot' Topicby HavokComment by dr rick: The stark white background is effective. Spot editing out the blurry protrusions (legal for this challenge) would have improved the image. |

Remains of a 'Hot' Topicby HavokComment by sn4psh07: Did you try a slightly tighter crop (Too much white space on right for me)? Good focus. I like the colourisation. Looks a little noisy. |
