Goodness when I saw the thumbnail for this I thought tschhh someone pratting around in search of the brown but then once its open and you get to realise there is that wonderful translucent person in the frame is a real treat

Perhaps my only thought would have been to crop it slightly higher to lose a bit of the drak floor pmaybe (if it was possible) seeing some more of the lava lamp mural as the black of the floor is a bit incongruous with the rest of the image

Lovely and I am glad I did not let my perception put me off looking at this

Very cool image; I have no idea what's going on here, which made me look more closely. The colors are unique, and the shapes and lines keep driving my eye around the shot, looking and searching. I am often drawn to the thing that looks like a golf flag, but I always move on. Excellent abstract and wonderful entry.

Whoa, this has amazinly sharp detail. What a stunning capture. Love the lighting and the catch light in the owl's eyes. The colors are so natural, yet very beautiful. Your tones are perfect. Your DOF choice is excellent. I like how the blurred red in the bokeh helps bring out the orange-red of the owl's eyes. Bravo!!

i just had a look at this before reading your title and this looked like a duck's head covered with petrol to me. reminded me a scene from "winged migration". looks quite cool, i like the textures.
