I'm not much for receiving or giving comments, but since Candids are
near and dear to my heart, I have decided to give comment on every entry
in this challenge.

This is just alright for me. It has decent focus, color and lighting. However, when I look at it as a candid, I really don't feel the need to say "wow, that is good" or cool or a great shot of a candid. I like to see more interest, something a bit more obscure, and/or something out of the ordinary. So for me this is a 4 vote.

This is an interesting candid. Nice DOF to isolate the subject yet see enough background to hold the viewers interest. His legs and torso form a sort of leading lines into the image (I know it wasn't planned, but it works.). I like how you can see the heat from the match/lighter he's using to light his cig. Well done. Good luck in the challenge.
