i like the positioning of the ducks (and their reflections) and they seem to both have their attention focused on the same thing. i think their heads look a little oversharp, though. the frame is hard to see and i wish it just wasn't there, but i love the colours of the water.

Really nice. The softness works in this case...you could mask off the NI effects on the birds with a little PS work. Good symetry in your models, great colors and tone.

Things I like:
--The way the birds have their heads positioned identically
--Composition
--Ripples

Things I might change:
--Border line is just a tad too subtle, would choose a color that makes it stand out just a bit more
--Like what NI did to the water, but the birds seem a bit too soft. Never used NI, can it work on selective areas? If not, PS will allow selective noise reduction.
--Some people would argue that the birds should be in the lower right corner, that way they are looking into rather than out of the picture.

BTW, these are Canadian geese, not ducks. :-)

I think this would have been better if there was some good lighting on the object. The whole picture is just too dark and it hides the detail.
