bumping this one to my top 3. It has a somewhat snap-shot quality, but the from-the-water POV and "regular guy that happens to be a corny striped shirt because that's what people see in old paintings" thing is great.
We are actually headed to Italy this Summer and my wife tells me Venice is not quite as dreamy as people think. Well caught. I'd love to see it in color as well =)

The lower right falcon has a darker patch of sky between its legs, which adds a rather distracting element to an otherwise well composed and edited image. I don't see any juxtaposition though, this is just... position.
