Strange border, thick on 2 sides and thin on 2 sides. The composition is decent, but there are odd effects in the background. The lighting is a little harsh. More diffusion (with paper or cloth over the light) would help get rid of that hotspot on the orange.

challenge met. i like how you filled the photo with your subject, and the decision to not crop off any of the edges of the peel, while unusual, works well here. so do the bright, vibrant colors against the nice evenly black background. the arrangement of the peel is very nice, too. the two things that i don't like as much is the glare on the orange in front, holding some paper between the lightsource and the orange could alleviate that. the other thing is the frame. it is light blue, a color that doesn't go with anything in the photo, and, worst of all, it is totally asymmetrical. i'm almost thinking light blue was your background color and you cropped the picture in a way that left it to be the same size as before and allowed the background to shine through.

Nice one. Don't like the shadows, even though there aren't too many. Good color, rich and vivid and very natural. Good focus and ighting, except for the shadows. Nice composition, not too cramped, nor too airy, but just the right amount of space. Good model, very natural pose , nice looking and beautiful expression, very photogenic. Would rank up there in a portrait contest. You appear to have a talent for this type of photography. Beautiful photo.
