The reason I'm not voting in this challenge is because of images like this and probably my incorrect take on the challenge title/description. I like this type of photography and have seen the same 'style' here before.

I like the composition, jaunty angle, viewers angle and perfectly placed 'character'. I also like the overall treatment though a little more black might have helped imho.

As I said, I'm not voting. If this where(say)a free study I'd be on the 7 button but in this challenge probably a 5.

a great moment you've captured but I would say 1) too pixelated, 2) barely any pan and 3) too zoomed out for an action shot of this sort... and I know its a pain I can only go to 200mm myself! I think if this were cropped into just the bird and the reflection it would be a standout shot, even if the bird is facing outwards

I'm still trying to figure out how to pronounce this. I sound like I am trying to clear my throat hehe. Well the score should be better, of course, but relish in the accomplishment of meeting a stranger and getting a cool photo!
