Primarily shooting a f/2.8 at 1:1 or very close to 1:1 with my 100mm macro. With this image, nothing else fell in to the depth of field given the POV and crop. |

A B L A Z Eby bspurgeonComment by mycelium: Ah, you've boldly entered what appears to be the only landscape in the challenge. Works for me, though--red peppers and flaming shot glasses are not the only things that convey 'hotness.' Here we have the blazing sun in the desert in a stark B/W study--if that doesn't convey hotness, I don't know what does.

Sharply Curvedby bspurgeonComment by kaiser_chief: The shapes through this image are really interesting, which makes the photos......shallow depth of field like this is not my favourite area, but you have both done this well, and have so much depth with the curved subject still standing out against the background that makes this image still really interesting. Simple border just finishes it off well....... |
