RadioFlyerby bspurgeonComment by daisydavid: I saw red when I gave this a 7, I think it's time for a class action frontal lobotomy for all scores under that. Message edited by author 2012-01-16 09:29:20. |

RadioFlyerby bspurgeonComment by mcaldo: That's quite interesting, what our mind does at time. I mean.
a friend of my dad used to dive and fish coral pretty deep, up to 100m. He is a biologist as well, so perfectly aware that red bandwith is one of the first to kiss goodbye and disappear when diving deep. Still, he could swear he could see the coral as red anyway :)
This said, I have to admit my brain lacked the previous exposure to work out the trick wih this image, as you say it's a north American icon :) Message edited by author 2012-01-16 06:40:59. |

RadioFlyerby bspurgeonComment by Giles: yeah im not arguing with that, when i saw it i knew it would be a postumous ribbon, just for a no colour shot in a colour specified challenge, and thats not a bad thing, but as has been said its very north american based, same as me using a royal mail post box or an old red telephone box. that why it has no red relevance to me. so unless ppl know the brand they are like many did going to vote you down for having no red in a challenge stating the main colour being red.

Well, I'm not so sure about that. I love to express color in black and white, it's not that far fetched. The RadioFlyer is iconic, although I knew it would likely strike a cord primarily with North Americans.
