it could be nice, but the poor focus lets you down. ideally, the dog would be in sharp focus, and the background (which is a bit cluttered and distracting) would be in deep unfocus (yeah, i know it's not word...).

It's chrome and meets the challenge, but for me the interesting part is where the strings wrap around the tuning pegs. The rest of the shot, for me, takes away from the "wow" factor. I really like the bottom half a lot, though, especially the lighting and the shadows of the strings.

Thank you, and no worries! It's a good composition, and had I made it with some better technical equipment, could easily have scored better. (I would like to have gotten some better DOF, especially in the corners.) Thanks for the support - I'm quite happy with this in the 85th percentile!
