MilkWeed In The Windby sallyjo1Comment by BakerBug: I think the DoF is too shallow. Most of the seeds flying away are beyond the focal plane which makes them seem to be part of the background instead of the subject. |

Harvest ( Son )by sallyjo1Comment by karmat: He's close enought to the right third of the frame, that it feels like he should be there. I think getting a bit closer (though I understand you would then lose some of the size perspective) would help to show him and his expression a bit clearer. |

Harvest ( Son )by sallyjo1Comment by ladyhawk22: This photo has a certain classic feel to it. I think with perhaps just a little bit of adjustment in Curves, the B&W tones would really pop! I like the composition and the boy alone amidst all that corn. |
