Comment made long after the challenge: You're one of the few people using the Canon 135mm f/2.0 on DPC. I tried it out recently on a 5D and like that lens a lot. It is perfectly crisp with nice depth of field control. I was wondering just how much usage you get out of yours? Now and again? or a lot? Living in a big city, my needs might well be quite different from yours. But I am curious to know, if you have time to respond. Thanks in advance.

Actually, not horns at all. Those are antlers, which are re-grown each year and shed each year, in total. You are confused with other species, such as bighorn sheep or mountain goats, which do have horns.... that grow incrementally each year.

Only the male wapiti have antlers. Antler growth is minimal until the animals are a few years of age.
