The Red-naped Sapsucker (Sphyrapicus nuchalis) is a medium-sized North American woodpecker.
It's NOT a Mexican woodpecker it just happens to winter there.

I found this description very insulting and I wasn't going to comment on it because I didn't want to go to that level but I will now. I don't know if you noticed but Tiny had mountains in the picture he submitted (it didn't look wild, but it's still mountains). I grew up in Carpathian mountains (totally wild area) and I also thought this picture was kind of undefined when I first looked at it. But what do we Europeans know with our Alps, Pyrenees and Carpathians, right?

Great scene to true into a painting. Although its a bit too smooth for my tastes. I want to see the texture the brushes create.
