Aside from the too well matched title here, I have some issues with the pseudo-tiltshift shot..

The blurring should be somewhat consistent fore/back of the plane of focus, (allowing of course, for the effect of DOF with tilt on a surface that is at a right angle to the ground..)..

Here we see a foreground that isn't blurred quite enough, or a background that isn't blurred enough as it approaches infinity(either would work)..

I've found that it takes several layers of increased blur, each 'peeled' back from the focal plane a bit.

Also, the trees in the background are just wrong. :) There shouldn't be anywhere near that much DOF, and you have trees where the bottom is in focus and the top is blurred.

Basically, it's just inconsistent, and that kills the effect.
