I thought this was adorable, nice catch. However, the rock was almost more prominent than the animals to my eyes, that took a way a bit from the photo's impact IMHO. My eyes kept moving back to that darker rock. I scored this a 6 - it was a very good image, but just didn't have quite the power a few of the others did for me.

Anyone who knows their birds knows Hummers and Sunbirds, despite their minuscule proportions, are very feisty and chase off any threat no matter how big or small. they are bad ass. Lovely image well framed with environment in the BG and some wing action.

Pretty image, but seems to me to be a shoe-horn for the challenge. Without the title I would not look at this photograph and think "Bad." Just my two cents.

When one drinks, one's vision becomes blurred and one's ability to focus is impaired. Sharp, in focus photography is "why" I shouldn't drink. If the voters want to see the negative side of every challenge subject, they'll have to rely on others than me.
