A Clear Night in Januaryby hahn23Comment by hahn23: Originally posted by mefnj: might have cloned out the plane trails, really detracts from the majesty |
The light streak in the upper middle is a meteor. The flashing light to the right of Ypsilon Mountain is a plane. Both are major elements of interest. No need to clone out major elements. My philosophy is to present images without Photoshopping. |

Hydraulic Liftby hahn23Comment by timb: Not a bad shot but I might have liked it more at a different time of the day. The high sun can be difficult to shoot in. |

Ski Touring Titansby hahn23Comment by timb: Seems like a really shallow DOF. I might have preferred it without the back boot blurring. JMO :) |

The reason for my vote of 4 on this was because of the lack of detail in the critical area of the face. That and the amount of noise in the photo. I first thought that the photo may have been underexposed and pulled back, which would have introduced more noise, but after seeing the entry details I see it's more likely the ISO of 3200. |
Thanks for the vote of "4". At least you didn't give me another "1". |
