Day 15 - Signs of Ageby shalrathComment by tnun: Quite taken with this. Partly her dress and hat and the way you have done the colour, but also the composition with the strong lines and really nice way the lighting showcases her skin. For me this supports the self respect shown by her attire as well as the dignity of her work. (There are days when I feel the most important things I have done have been humble manual tasks. Is this a sign of age or wisdom?) |

Day 11 - Toilby shalrathComment by Germaine: Good work. You have three perspectives here -- the woman with the baby is concentrating on just going forward, the two young people are looking far ahead, and the baby is looking at something off to the side (and isn't awfully happy about what he sees). Maybe it's a metaphor for our times.
Nice processing, too. (As always.) |

Day 10 - Big Girlby shalrathComment by aplomb76: It is a nice clear shot. I agree with tnun. Are you the one reflected in the sunglasses? It would be funny if that is you. |

Day 08 - V is for...by shalrathComment by crik: The dof does accentuate the subject well. Seems to be a man with a purpose. I like the color toning and comp, nice work. |

Day 10 - Big Girlby shalrathComment by tnun: Love the clarity and DOF showcasing the girl and her glasses with the twin reflections. It is interesting and enjoyable when the children in these candids are the ones to spot the photographer. |

Day 09 - Segafredoby shalrathComment by bvy: Minimalist and interesting. I'm not sure what cross-processing bought you here. It's mostly white -- maybe if I saw it without it. Whatever you did, you did right. |

Day 08 - V is for...by shalrathComment by Melethia: Ah, you're faster on the trigger than me - I have been trying to figure how to deal with the fact I leave focus on the center and recompose on the fly, when I really need to be able to move the focus around. Framing suits his glare/look very well. I like the lights/reflections beyond. |
