I like this a lot. If it were mine, I'd crop out the BRIGHT part of the sun, just leaving the rays, which would make the shape of the image more like a panorama, but I think it'd be cool. :~)

Hmm ... not sure how I'm feeling about this. You have an interesting model. You've resisted the temptation to turn her skin to plastic. Fingernails raise all kinds of questions. And her oriental appeanance creates some tension with your title.All that's good in my book. This may be a case where a centered composition might have been better. It looks a little off balance in this one.

Composition: Again, it's lovely that she is lying down and there is headspace above her. It really adds a lot to the shot.

Lighting/Exposure: Your flare is wonderful. Is that an earring or just a spot of light under her head there?

Pose: Lovely profile shot.

Suggestions for Improvements: I'd like to see she shadows darkened a bit.

You are doing some wonderful portrait work here. I can't wait to see more :)

Composition: I like that you positioned her in the bottom of the frame and that she is lying down. It works.

Lighting/Exposure: The backlighting is beautiful and the light in her eyes is fantastic.

Pose: I like the way you have her head turned. She has a lovey nose.

Suggestions for Improvements: I'd like to see more light on this side of her. Just to balance the lighting out.

She is such a pretty girl. I am guessing she is your new girlfriend? :) I know I'd be dating someone I put on my Christmas card.

When you put a face right in front, and the focus is on the eyes, im sorry but there needs to be better focus everywhere. The out of focus hand and thumb is too distracting. But its still a super duper contender. GL/
