Screwed for the Last Hundred and Ten Years by HighNoonerComment by texas2wheeler: I can't belivee the comments about bland drab flat etc....
I like the composition, depth of field, texture on the side of the rail, and the readiblity of the "commerical 1901".
Did the "1901 Commercial" appear ledgibly from the first shot or did that take some work on the lighting?
Great shot |

A divine delight by HighNoonerComment by Neat: What a story - amazing, and to think you had one go at it, shows your talent.
When I look at this photo, I think to myself, how can anyone give this less than a 10, but you got them, as hard as it is to believe that this deserves anything less. It would be astonishing indeed to ever see anything on DPC get at least a 9 average! Message edited by author 2013-05-25 05:57:27. |

Screwed for the Last Hundred and Ten Years by HighNoonerComment by oscarthepig: No doubt it'll be considered sacrilege to add a negative comment, but I'm shocked this is what took the blue. To me, it seems very flat in spite of the strong perspective lines. The lighting is bland, and the colors are drab. Then again, the voters rated my stupid coin macro at 6+, so go figure.... |
