A tomato on the lens? Man, the lengths to which you will go... Icky and about as real-looking as I can believe - you should have gotten a better score, if only for the effort at verisimilitude. Honestly - the shot makes me queasy, wouldn't be hanging a copy of it on my wall anytime soon, but dang, I bow to your superior imagination and ingenuity. :)

good macro, but i think would have been better if focus was on the eye itself rather than the lashes. however, i don't think i could have done any better.

like: awesome shot. really like the unique approach. The hairs is really the best addition to the subject of the eye. very sharp.
Dislike: a little bigger DOF would have put the eye in more focus being the primary subject.
