I didn't vote on the challenge, so this is the first time I've seen this shot. I'd have given it a high mark. To me, it's everything a candid should be -- good light, good tones, good sharpness. You've captured one moment perfectly. I like the juxtaposition of the girl who is reading her paper and the women who are involved in their own conversation.

Would it be better to have the kid and the blue background a little bit on the left? May be splitting the colors at about 0.62 instead of 0.5. Yellow wall kind of looks it is squishing the kid... Nice though.
