For me I think I would have cropped differently, It is a bit to much space behind him. Using rule of thirds.
Other than that, this is a great shilouette picture.

I understand the idea behind the image, but until I studied the picture closer it just looked like a larger figure holding up a smaller figure

I'm not much for receiving or giving comments, but since Candids are near and dear to my heart, I have decided to give comment on every entry in this challenge.

Little interest here for me I'm afraid. Just a boy reading a book is what I get from it and I find nothing that speaks to me beyond that. I do like the tones and the dof, but as a candid and in what I like to see in them, this just doesn't do it for me. It's a 3 vote for me.

I was sure I'd left a comment on this! Something to the effect that the sharp shadow is what makes it for me, not sure just why...? Also love the smudge of typical little-boy dirt on the toe :)
