thanks, smardaz, for the defense, but it's ok. the work is out there, it's a valid comment. my titile is somehwat confusing as to whether i just don't know the difference. but, i need a suitably simple and restrained title to clear it up, and i don't have one yet, so, ambergris it will be for a while, until the imagination kicks in...

This is a very interesting shot. What I like most is the effect that the processing has on the surrounding snow. I don't know if the lighting is from the processing or natural but I like the way it tightly surrounds the foot print.

Hmmm, I thought this was a very interesting entry and scored it accordingly. I especially liked the OOB entries in this challenge, and thought you did particularly well with the cool processing. I also kind of think the track has an anthropomorphic look to it - almost like a face grinning back at you.

I am shocked that this ended up where it did. Please don't be discouraged by how narrow minded a lot of the voters here can be! This really is a good photograph, and IMHO fits the challenge very well.
