I love the lighting. I also like how the three duracell ultras are grouped together...it's less distracting

Cute theme, but since the anthropromophisizing of the shoes is the way you have gone, it seems odd that the composition is set up to make it look like they're taking a leak against a wall.

shoes sitting on a porch is something we ignore and walk by every day. The image has been taken at an angle that we would regularly see in this situation. Something we find mundane in regular life does not translate into an exciting image. Try taking a photo like this from a point of view that we would not see on a regular day.

Dull colors, too grey. Could do with some cropping.

I really like your idea. However, I wish that there had been more color. Also, I find the uppper right hand corner rather distracting.

In a challenge with nearly 500 entries you've got to stand out from the croud. Creativity and artistic components become even more important than the technical aspects. Technically fine, but lacking any real creative intrest. Sorry.

I am not sure what you're trying to achive, I must say... Do those things (rings?) in upper left corner play a role? If so, why are the cropped and so much out of focus, if not why are they there? Actually this gives my an idea though, wedding rings in the upper right corner, in focus, with the digital alarm fading out bootom right - this could have worked.
