Thoughtfullby zaflaboutComment by DrAchoo: Technicals: I think I spot a common problem made with portraits, the sharpest focus is on the tip of the nose and not the eyes. Your camera loves to find the nose because it is in the middle and has contrasting edges. You either have to manually focus on the eyes or move the AF sensor to the eyes and recompose. Lighting is nice, although I think the white actually overpowers her a bit. I think I would have cloned out the two little spectral highlights on her lip.
The feel: Contemplative. I like that she isn't looking at the camera. Perhaps a nicely bokeh'd background would have done you better than the starkly white one.
The game: You look like people thought you did a decent job, but didn't provide too much "wow". 101 5s pretty well cinches that diagnosis. |
