All I can say is wow. The colors in this photograph are just astonishing. So bright and everything is so crisp. Plus its something I think we can all realte to when we were kids. 10, and a favorite. Great capture.

Still Life with Pinwheel

You don't know how to score low well. :-) To be honest, this doesn't do much for me - a decent enough still life but a bit lacking in depth, warmth. No real reason at all for the pinwheel except to meet the challenge (and a good way to do that) - strikes me as weird in this setting. Had the still life been more of a 4th of July All American picnic kinda thing, then the pinwheel would have seemed appropriate.

But it scored a 6.5 and came in in the top ten, so what do I know! :-)

I noticed that your current listing of challenges (most recent 10) shows lots and lots of stars. I never even looked at the results of this challenge so didn't realize you'd finished this high - congrats! Nice work with the 50mm.
