Though I have failed in the past :O this time I recognized Aimee. I like this shot. It has a great spirit of fun and affection to it, but is also exciting (which is what panning is all about). I think your lack of time to "focus on the setup" has made for a very candid, natural-looking shot, as though you just happened to come across a mother and child racing through the parking lot on a shopping cart. It's quite effective.
