I love the colors in this, and at first it seems very intriguingâ€Â¦ but then it doesn't really seem to have anywhere to go. Strong initial impression, but they story seems to end there.

Composition-wise, I wish the person were at the right window looking out instead of centered. I really don't mind centered compositions, it's just that it feels a little claustrophobic, like there's not enough space. Doesn't make any sense, I realize, it's just the feeling that came to me. :)

I think it deserves a score higher than my guess, but I'm guessing 5.6 from the collective.

It looks like a movie scene and the processing too. Overexposure in the windows can be ok, but IMO is too strong. I'll cast a 6, but I predict a 5.70.

This is the type of image that goes unappreciated at the time of it's creation, yet ends up in art and photography text books and lauded as being representative of the great artist's life's work. I would imagine your guess to be an accurate representation of the dpc audience, however I would score this higher. 5.3468

The multiple frames - picture frame, outside bricks of window, window frame, pans on side of window, window and shelf in the back, high hanging pan at top - all work remarkably well to bring the viewer's attention to the baker in front. The has so many interesting things to explore. The light seems harsh washing out the colors a bit, but that is okay as it lends to the mood and, truth be known, there probably is not much color in a bakery kitchen anyway! Double digit rating on this image from me.
