I looked at all of the entries and this one is sooo what you would expect to see when you hear the words still life, but that is not why I think it is probably the best. I like, over all of the rest, the use of dark and white spaces. I like the extreme contrasts balanced in both larger and smaller areas. Good eye.

This was my favourite in the challenge, and by far the most under appreciated (imho). Great capture and composition... and good use of B&W.

You should have ranked higher. What I liked about the picture was that it told a story. It makes the view wonder why the kitty in the window is meowing. Great job!
