I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: An image that rewards exploration - there are a whole bunch of things to look at: the neon with the foliage overhang; the peeling paint of the door frame and the red sign;the couple and how she is looking out, but not at you; the ambiguous reflection; and the interesting floor surfaces. All of these things are perhaps in and of themselves inconsequential but together they reminds that sometimes it's good to pause, take a breath and look around.

Critical stuff: Not much at all really, I think the image is quite straight-up and perhaps this limits its 'crafted' feel, but this is just the flip side of what appeals about it.

Overall: A nice observational piece.
