This is an excellent shot! I can't believe you didn't get burned. I didn't vote in this challenge but would have given you at least an 9 for the danger factor. |

This is a cute shot. I like the setup and your little boy is adorable. The top (bottom) of the one foot is very distracting though. I'm not sure if that's a blow out or maybe grass stains, LOL. |

The Santa Mariaby timfythetooComment by sherpet: I love the natural warm Antique feel to this classic image..... Maybe just a little too tightly cropped as some areas are a little busy.
I missed this in the challenge, and really like it a lot.....
I would like to see more of the dark sky, as it has a "magic" feel to it. Message edited by author 2006-05-30 18:05:12. |

First of all, I'm amazed you didn't burn yourself. You do know you're certifiable, right? I think this was a pretty good execution of your idea. I realize since you were behind the viewfinder holding your hand out front, you couldn't much change the angle, but I think had you had the hand turned more so that the flame was between the thumb and first finger for the viewer, it might have been more effective. Though I don't know why I think that. The only other nit - flame doesn't seem to be as crisply focused as it could be.
Edit to add I love Aimee's comment. Message edited by author 2006-05-29 13:29:56. |

Busted!!!by timfythetooComment by kirsty_mcn: This is a great double exposure, very creative and technically very good despite the difficulties of the double exposure, especially wrt lighting. The expressions are priceless.
The only criticism really is the skewed label in the top left of the left half. OTher than that, its pretty much perfect imho.
