I see this as warm, both in tone and feeling. Neutrals - beiges, browns, tans - are often hard to use to convey "color" since, well, many see them as neutral. Are you shooting in RAW and do you use CS3? The reason I ask is there's a very handy tool in the CS3 RAW processor (and it may well exist in Nikon software - I don't know) that allows you to "recover" the highlights.
