Nice macro attempt. Narrower aperture would have given more DOF. The background is appropriate.

wish the focus included more of the sugar in the background (DOF, but I don't know how to use those terms very well yet). Love the crispness on the spoon - and the reflection doesn't bother me given the white of the sugar out weighs it. Background it delightful
