This image is very busy. My eye doesn't really know where to look there is so much going on. I'm not really sure how you could improve this one. Some dramitic clouds would have given this more kick. Or something in the forground to draw the veiwer's attention. Good luck :)

You did good with the black and white conversion. You also have many good textures shown with the leaves. There is little to be desired compositionally and that is where you would add the most interest. A very good exposure of the whole scene in the foreground leaves the sky over exposed and plain white. I would have framed it out of the picture and left very little in if you wanted the tree tops shown.

A bit to cropped out on the left and I am not really liking his pose. It doesn't really give me an idea of his body proportions and what I could really use him for if I was a modeling agency representative. It's also just a bit to bright around the one side of the face and not enough on the other. I gave it a 6 though.
