The lighting on this is gorgeous! I don't agree there is no interest - the fact that one chair is just slightly higher than the other tells a story. The viewer just has to look a little bit. I gave this a high score- I like photos where I have to work for my reward. Good job.

This is a fun image, but I really don't care for the tubes of stuff and maybe if the cup was more focus around the herbs it would be a stronger image. I really like the herbs, but the others distract.

Well, I like this -- I think the lighting is fine and the crop/negative space composition work well.

I wonder if the purplish tone to the highlights disturbed some people as perhaps being a bit out of place -- suitable for an actor or musician on stage, but a little odd for a children's portrait studio.

I'm interested in trying out the step "reduce to 80% opacity" -- above what color BG did you have this as a layer?

I happen to like this image alot! I think it has excellent lines that lead you right into the photo then around it. The only two things I would do to this is a dodge around the top of his head and do a sharpen (focus seems a bit soft to me). I love the "thoughtful & shy" feel of this. well done!
